Adriatic Islands
Islands of Pag, this island of particular geography with moon landscapes has an ancient history dating from Illyrians to Croats passing by Romans. Novalja and Zrce offer beautiful beaches and an active night life. Pag is famous for its excellent wines, cheese salt and handcrafts.

The Island of Brac is famous for its white stone production used to build world wide renown chefs d´oeuvres such as the Coliseum in Rome, the White House in Washington and the Diocletian Palace in Split.

The Island of Hvar, is said to be the sunniest island of the Adriatic Sea. It offers marvellous bays, lush vegetation, vineyards, olive groves, fields of lavender, historical and cultural sights and a sparkling nightlife which positions itself among the hottest destinations in the Adriatic, as well as for the incentive organiser.

Just facing Hvar, the Pakleni Islands are a playful chain of woody isles, dipped in a clear, azure sea. Ideal to enjoy little, hidden beaches, stone terraces and beautiful deserted lagoons.

The authentic Island of Vis sheltered during World War II, Marshall Josip Broz Tito and became later one of the Army’s main naval bases where no tourist visits where allowed for many years… It is a retreat of unspoiled nature.

Island Korcula is one of the greenest islands in the Adriatic Sea. The main town on the island is also named Korcula, a typical medieval walled Dalmatian city. Marco Polo the famous world-traveller and writer, is said to be born in Korcula.
Besides Marco Polo, Korcula has a long art and cultural tradition, including museums, galleries and festivals. The sword dance Moreska, is world famous folk drama dance, which used to be played all over the Mediterranean.

Island of Mljet is one of the largest islands in south Dalmatia. It has an interesting history related to the legend of Ulysses and St Paul and the island displays equally proudly roman ruins as well as two interior lakes, a Benedictine monastery on an interior islet.
