Istria is a land of diversities and combines the continental way of living with the Mediterranean charm.

This heart-shaped peninsula immersed into the deep blue waters of the Adriatic, is a secluded garden of nature and unseen beauty. Istria is much known for the truffle forests and its small towns scattered along the coast and on the misty hills. Motovun, is an ancient Istrian acropolis located on the top of a hill protected by impressive stone gates. Porec, on the coast is famous for its historical monuments from classical antiquity, the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. The charming city of Rovinj is renowned for its enchanting narrow streets and majestic baroque church of St Euphemia. The most important city and port of Istria is Pula where an extraordinary well kept Roman Amphitheatre stands in the heart of the city, testimony of its ancient and glorious history. The Brijuni national park, an island group scattered along the coast in front of Pula, are worth a visit.
