Split is a fabulous city with a rich roman history, where Roman Emperor Diocletian retired and built the Palace of the same name, nowadays protected by the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.

In the outskirts of Split is Trogir, lovingly called the Little Venice. It is over 2800 years old and its beauty and historic past have gained her to be recognized and quoted by UNESCO too.
